At 1510 you fix your position 044°T, 3.9 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 216°T at 9.5 kn until 1525, then 317°T at 5.0 kn until 1535.

Give the 1535 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
