At 0830 you fix your position 073°T, 2.4 nm from Westfield church spire. You steer 066°T at 7.1 kn until 0905, then 295°T at 5.7 kn until 0925.

Give the 0925 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
