At 0825 you fix your position 316°T, 3.3 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 254°T at 7.0 kn until 0905, then 079°T at 6.4 kn until 0915.

Give the 0915 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
