At 0725 you fix your position 269°T, 2.4 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 166°T at 8.6 kn until 0735, then 273°T at 4.8 kn until 0800.

Give the 0800 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
