At 0935 you fix your position 224°T, 3.3 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 144°T at 4.9 kn until 0950, then 338°T at 8.4 kn until 1005.

Give the 1005 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
