At 0755 you fix your position 061°T, 2.6 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 095°T at 4.2 kn until 0835, then 194°T at 4.4 kn until 0915.

Give the 0915 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
