At 1345 you fix your position 051°T, 2.6 nm from Mill stack. You steer 000°T at 8.3 kn until 1410, then 112°T at 8.5 kn until 1435.

Give the 1435 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
