At 0810 you fix your position 205°T, 2.2 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 278°T at 7.3 kn until 0820, then 311°T at 5.4 kn until 0855.

Give the 0855 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
