At 0700 you fix your position 282°T, 3.1 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 206°T at 5.0 kn until 0730, then 092°T at 5.6 kn until 0755.

Give the 0755 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
