At 0725 you fix your position 049°T, 1.8 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 058°T at 8.6 kn until 0735, then 302°T at 7.6 kn until 0810.

Give the 0810 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
