At 0725 you fix your position 296°T, 4.3 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 242°T at 5.4 kn until 0805, then 359°T at 5.7 kn until 0820.

Give the 0820 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
