At 1545 you fix your position 104°T, 1.7 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 019°T at 4.1 kn until 1630, then 253°T at 6.0 kn until 1715.

Give the 1715 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
