At 1315 you fix your position 037°T, 2.9 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 126°T at 5.7 kn until 1350, then 225°T at 7.3 kn until 1410.

Give the 1410 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
