At 1415 you fix your position 062°T, 2.7 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 300°T at 5.4 kn until 1430, then 144°T at 4.6 kn until 1515.

Give the 1515 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
