At 0935 you fix your position 324°T, 3.0 nm from Kittle water tank. You steer 084°T at 9.2 kn until 0950, then 343°T at 5.8 kn until 1015.

Give the 1015 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
