At 1430 you fix your position 037°T, 2.0 nm from Mill stack. You steer 082°T at 9.7 kn until 1445, then 050°T at 4.1 kn until 1530.

Give the 1530 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
