At 1305 you fix your position 261°T, 3.2 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 168°T at 4.1 kn until 1320, then 269°T at 6.7 kn until 1335.

Give the 1335 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
