At 0845 you fix your position 059°T, 2.9 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 022°T at 8.7 kn until 0855, then 313°T at 7.2 kn until 0930.

Give the 0930 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
