At 0855 you fix your position 050°T, 2.4 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 199°T at 7.7 kn until 0905, then 089°T at 9.5 kn until 0945.

Give the 0945 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
