At 0820 you fix your position 213°T, 2.2 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 292°T at 9.2 kn until 0830, then 187°T at 4.7 kn until 0845.

Give the 0845 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
