At 1005 you fix your position 054°T, 2.6 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 143°T at 6.0 kn until 1035, then 066°T at 5.9 kn until 1120.

Give the 1120 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
