At 1455 you fix your position 269°T, 3.1 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 044°T at 4.2 kn until 1510, then 232°T at 5.5 kn until 1520.

Give the 1520 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
