At 0855 you fix your position 245°T, 1.0 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 298°T at 8.7 kn until 0910, then 110°T at 5.0 kn until 0930.

Give the 0930 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
