At 0805 you fix your position 039°T, 4.1 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 286°T at 5.4 kn until 0845, then 246°T at 9.1 kn until 0910.

Give the 0910 DR position as the true bearing FROM Tern Island tower to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
