At 0930 you fix your position 076°T, 1.9 nm from Heron Point Light. You steer 329°T at 4.1 kn until 0940, then 120°T at 6.3 kn until 0955.

Give the 0955 DR position as the true bearing FROM Mill stack to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
