At 1425 you fix your position 236°T, 1.5 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 103°T at 9.0 kn until 1440, then 306°T at 4.8 kn until 1520.

Give the 1520 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
