At 1535 you fix your position 346°T, 3.1 nm from Kittle water tank. You steer 094°T at 6.2 kn until 1600, then 252°T at 7.5 kn until 1610.

Give the 1610 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
