At 1545 you fix your position 076°T, 2.6 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 221°T at 4.2 kn until 1555, then 133°T at 9.9 kn until 1610.

Give the 1610 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
