At 1005 you fix your position 234°T, 2.9 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 301°T at 6.4 kn until 1030, then 266°T at 5.5 kn until 1045.

Give the 1045 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
