At 1325 you fix your position 092°T, 2.4 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 031°T at 8.9 kn until 1335, then 277°T at 7.4 kn until 1400.

Give the 1400 DR position as the true bearing FROM Gannet Rock daybeacon to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
