At 0915 you fix your position 295°T, 4.0 nm from Tern Island tower. You steer 157°T at 9.2 kn until 0945, then 325°T at 6.3 kn until 1025.

Give the 1025 DR position as the true bearing FROM Westfield church spire to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.

Tolerance: 2° and 0.15 nm (or 4 % of the distance).
