At 0955 you fix your position 114°T, 1.7 nm from Gannet Rock daybeacon. You steer 234°T at 7.0 kn until 1015, then 071°T at 8.3 kn until 1030.

Give the 1030 DR position as the true bearing FROM Kittle water tank to the DR, and the distance. Courses are true and speeds are through the water; dead reckoning ignores current and leeway.
